Expanding our awareness of the medical needs of chronic pain patients and the nursing care they receive is an additional issue that greatly affects the current opiate crisis. Chronic pain patients require us as nurses to be astute in managing their pain and ensuring safe practices. Thank you for sharing your thoughts on this issue in order to further develop our understanding and its effect on patient care and positive outcomes.

Sincerely,

Sue Painter
